Andy's Big
Fuckin
Rodeo
Four days in Austin to send Andy off right: shotguns, a chicken hunt, a civil war, and a shrimp boil. Everything you need is on this page. Questions go to Vaughn. Andy's only job this weekend is to have the time of his life.
13401 Bullick Hollow Rd
Austin, TX 78726
A lake house on Lake Travis, 45 minutes to an hour from the airport. Beds for everyone, first come first served, so land early if you want the good one. Wi‑Fi's there. The door code hits the group chat at check‑in.
Check‑in Thu 3:00 PM · Checkout Sun 11:00 AM, late checkout requested
Need anything, any hour: text Vaughn. Andy's retired from logistics until Sunday. His only job is to be the groom.
The house, the chef, the BBQ, and both buses are covered up front. Your share and the due date are coming; Venmo @vaughngooding when they land. Drinks downtown are on you. The first rounds Friday night are on Vaughn.
Thursday
Nov 5 · Wheels downGet there when you land. Andy's first in at 10:30 AM and on the Franklin's run, so the brisket's waiting when you walk through the door.
The best brisket in America, and we ordered too much on purpose. Then the lake, the game on, cold ones, and zero plans. Night one is a layup.
Tomorrow at 9 AM you're holding a shotgun. Have a night, but have the kind of night where you can still shoot straight at nine. The bus rolls at 7:45.
Friday
Nov 6 · Clays & the ChaseForty of them, hot, at the house. Fuel up before the bus.
An hour out to Dripping Springs, shotguns in hand by 9. Be on it: dressed, ID in your pocket, taco in your hand. The bus doesn't wait, and the Hill Country isn't walkable.
Two hours of shotguns and sporting clays in the Hill Country. Bring your ID, closed‑toe shoes, and a layer: 50° at 9 AM, 70° by the time we leave. The range only hands guns to clear heads, which is why last night had one rule. Bus back to the lake after.
Burgers and dogs off the grill around 1. Then the lake, a nap if you need one, water if you're smart. Nothing scheduled, on purpose. Save some for tonight.
Downtown for BBQ, beers, and the Chase. Miss it and you're chasing the bus in a 40‑minute Uber. Don't miss it.
BBQ and beers, all 13 of us at one long table. Spot TBD.
Pair up. Somewhere on East 6th, in one of nine bars, there's a chicken. Find him. Every bar you check, you finish a drink before you can leave. Pick your own route, trust your gut, and may the best pair find the bird.
All nine on one 1.1‑mile stretch. La Holly shuts at midnight; everyone else goes till 2.
Uber on your own when you're done: 35–45 minutes, $60–90 at 2 AM with surge. The Lucky Duck end of the street has the most drivers. Tap the button; the house is already the destination.
Saturday
Nov 7 · Civil WarFlorida vs Northeast. Seven events, one scoreboard, one winner: sand volleyball, beer pong, cornhole, beer die, rage cage, flip cup, and a lake sprint to close it out. Pick a side, pick a chant. Live scoreboard link coming.
A private chef, and a mountain of shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes dumped straight onto the table. Can't eat shellfish, or anything else? Text Vaughn now so Rita can take care of you.
The scoreboard's final, the lake's right there, and nobody has anywhere to be.
Sunday
Nov 8 · Last callOne more round of Rudy's. Late checkout's requested; if it comes through, it'll be here. Strip your bed and bag your trash on the way out, and we get the deposit back.
Leave the house two hours before yours; the airport's 45 minutes to an hour. Andy's wheels up at 4. Hugs at the door.
